I was listening to Psyclon Nine's Faith : Disease and the lyrics were just perfect for Van so I had to do something with it.

I used Clone.Manga's tutorial to draw it.

Your art is just as gritty, calculated and bold as your writing. I love this :heart: The composition is absolutely wonderful ^^ I can see the tutorial's influence, but I have to say I like your subject matter much, much more!

(tried to listen to the song on itunes, but the lyrics aren't so easy to hear on my cheap speakers :D Does sound like the Master, though)

Thank you. I'm really glad this came out as well as it did since I had so much trouble figuring out the light-source. xD;

I think what I specifically like in this picture is the contrast, where you took delicate care and precision to do this picture.

It's quite a good thing to look at, I especially like the eye, since it seems not the main focus in most art I notice.

Ah, there's the lyrics! Totally appropriate for Van ^^

Light sources are difficult in general, but I can imagine that it was absolutely vital for you to find the right angle for this piece because it is basically a work of darkness and light. :heart: The source you selected works perfectly!
